Sometimes patterns can be discerned in the most rain-hit of matches. Another lbw decision for Essex’s South African Alviro Petersen encouraged whispers from his former club, Glamorgan, that his record proves he is particularly vulnerable to this mode of dismissal: England seam bowlers will take note.After all the grumblings about how the counties are allowing South African players to warm up before the Test series, few stop to consider that any bowlers worth their salt will be passing their findings around the county circuit. Petersen might not be batting himself out of form, but playing himself out of the series.Yorkshire lived up to their promise of a positive approach to their cricket this season by setting Essex a generous target on the final day of the Division Two championship match at Headingley only for the game to peter out into a draw because of rain.Yorkshire’s captain, Andrew Gale, asked Essex to make 262 in 74 overs and they were soon struggling as Ajmal Shahzad fired out openers Billy Godleman and Petersen lbw with only seven scored. Petersen, according to sources at Glamorgan, his county last season, is vulnerable to lbw decisions — England seam bowlers will take note.At 26 for two in 11 overs, heavy rain began to fall and a couple of hours later the game was abandoned as a draw. Yorkshire could talk contentedly of how an enterprising declaration was influenced by their new coach, Jason Gillespie, but it all lacked substance as the miserable April weather continued.Shahzad showed more consistency than in a first innings where ill luck had been matched with wayward moments. He had Petersen lbw well back in his crease then in his next over removed Godleman in identical fashion.Yorkshire entered the final day on 144 for two, leading by 191, and Essex claimed a wicket off the first ball as Joe Sayers aimed a cut at David Masters and was caught behind for 45 off 127 balls with five fours. It was no bad thing Sayers had scored 45 from 45 overs the previous evening, excessive caution, however much one might talk of anchor roles, confidence-building innings and stability.Gale and Jonny Bairstow showed more enterprise as Yorkshire added 70 in 12 rain-interrupted overs. After including three boundaries in his 24, Bairstow hit a ball from Smith to Adam Wheater at deep square leg and Gale would have departed for 31 had the substitute fielder, Charl Willoughby, held a straight forward chance at long-off. Gale had reached 48 from 52 balls with two fours and two sixes when he declared.

Fagner surpreendeu em sua recuperação no Corinthians. Após lesionar a coxa esquerda no último dia 29, o lateral-direito recebeu o prazo de três a quatro semanas para voltar a ficar à disposição. No entanto, depois de 12 dias, treinou normalmente e deve reforçar o Timão contra o Flamengo nesta quarta-feira.

Desde que se lesionou, Fagner fez tratamentos intensivos. Em alguns dias, inclusive, chegou a tratar em até três períodos (intensificando os trabalhos em dois períodos pela manhã ou à tarde).

O lateral não teve folga no último fim de semana. Enquanto os jogadores se preparavam para o clássico contra o Palmeiras, Fagner foi ao CT Joaquim Grava e teve boa resposta nos trabalhos de transição em campo. Então, foi liberado para treinar normalmente na segunda.

Além do tratamento intensivo, outro motivo foi importante para a volta antes do prazo: as características físicas do jogador. Fagner costuma fazer trabalhos complementares antes ou depois dos treinos e não tem histórico de muitas lesões.

Antes da Copa do Mundo, por exemplo, Fagner sofreu uma lesão na coxa direita, mas voltou a trabalhar em campo depois de 13 dias. Recuperou-se a tempo de ser convocado por Tite para disputar a competição na Rússia.

A presença de Fagner para o jogo contra o Flamengo deve ser confirmada no treino desta terça-feira, antes do embarque do Corinthians ao Rio de Janeiro. A partida será na quarta, às 21h45, no Maracanã, pela ida da semifinal da Copa do Brasil.

تحدث تامر مصطفى المدير الفني لفريق إنبي عن تفاصيل الانتصار الذي حققه على حساب الزمالك بالمواجهة التي جمعت بينهما ضمن منافسات الدوري المصري.

وتلقى الزمالك هزيمة قاسية على يد إنبي بنتيجة 2-0 في اللقاء الذي أقيم مساء الأحد الماضي في إطار مباريات الجولة 21 من المسابقة المحلية.

وقال تامر مصطفى في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة المحور: “حرصت على تحضير لاعبي إنبي للعب على نقاط ضعف الزمالك خاصة في الدفاع؛ لذلك ضغطنا على الأبيض من البداية”.

واختتم: “كان من مصلحتي أن يدخل فيريرا بنفس تشكيل مباراة الترجي حتى يكون لاعبو الزمالك مُجهدين”.

أعلن الاتحاد المصري لكرة اليد عن توقيع المدرب الإسباني خوان كارلوس باستور على عقود تولي مهمة تدريب منتخب الفراعنة ليصبح الوريث الشرعي لمواطنه باروندو جارسيا.

وكان عمرو صلاح أمين صندوق الاتحاد المصري لكرة اليد أعلن في وقت سابق التوصل لاتفاق نهائي مع المدير الفني الإسباني خوان كارلوس باستور، لتولي مهمة تدريب منتخب مصر، خلفًا للإسباني روبيرتو جارسيا باروندو، والذي رحل عن تدريب الفراعنة بعد المشاركة في بطولة العالم الأخيرة.

وذكر عمرو صلاح أن باستور سوف يصل إلى مصر يوم 23 أبريل المقبل لمتابعة نجوم منتخب مصر لكرة اليد في فترة التوقف الدولية وليتم تقديمه أمام وسائل الإعلام في مؤتمر صحفي كبير.

وينتظر أن يبدأ باستور مهامه بشكل رسمي من أول يوليو من العام الجاري حتى 31 أغسطس 2024.

وكان اتحاد اليد أعلن رحيل باروندو عن تدريب منتخب مصر عقب نهاية مشوار الفراعنة في كأس العالم والحصول على المركز السابع.

ودخل اتحاد كرة اليد في مفاوضات مع عدد كبير من مدربي الصف الأول خلال الفترة الماضية أبرزهم النرويجي جلين سولبرج المدير الفني لمنتخب السويد، وجوردي ريبيرا المدير الفني لمنتخب إسبانيا، والأيسلندي سيجوردسون المدير الفني لمنتخب اليابان.

ومن جانبه قال عمرو صلاح أمين صندوق اتحاد كرة اليد، إن الهدف من البداية كان التعاقد مع مدير فني قوي ويمتلك خبرات كبيرة على مستوى المشاركات الأولمبية والمونديالية، من أجل قيادة الفراعنة نحو منصات التتويج العالمية.

يذكر أن باروندو قد تولى تدريب منتخب مصر عام 2019، وقاد الفراعنة للفوز ببطولة إفريقيا في آخر نسختين، والحصول على المركز السابع بكأس العالم مرتين على التوالي، وتحقيق الميدالية الفضية في دورة البحر المتوسط، والمركز الرابع في أولمبياد طوكيو.

Set a paltry 115 to win, the Outlaws reached their target with 3.4 overs to spare for their second win in the North Group. Their other game, against Derbyshire, was washed out on Friday.Openers Alex Hales and Michael Lumb took them more than halfway there, putting on 62 for the first wicket before Hales came down the pitch to Scott Borthwick and was stumped when the legspinner beat the bat. Hales made a run-a-ball 30, Lumb 46 off 39 balls – the latter punching his bat in frustration when a Mitchell Claydon delivery slipped off the face of his bat and he was caught on the cover boundary.But at 94 for 3 in the 14th over, the job was almost done. The batsman having crossed, Adam Voges drove the next ball for four and then pulled Liam Plunkett – one of seven Durham bowlers used – to the boundary to seal victory.Durham were indebted to Johann Myburgh for making it to three figures after a dreadful start. The 31-year-old former Hampshire player joined on Thursday for the duration of the tournament. أكد ممفيس ديباي مهاجم أتلتيكو مدريد الإسباني، أن التدريبات في فريقه السابق برشلونة لم تكن كافية ليحصل على اللياقة البدنية المناسبة.

وكان ديباي انضم إلى برشلونة في صفقة انتقال حر من ليون في صيف 2021، لكن لم يحصل على فرص كافية للمشاركة، وغادر في يناير 2023 إلى أتلتيكو مدريد.

وقال ديباي في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “سبورت” الإسبانية: “أنا بحاجة إلى نوع معين من التدريب لأكون في حالة بدنية مثالية”.
