نجح نادي برشلونة في حسم ثاني صفقاته الصيفية خلال الساعات القليلة الماضية بعد التوصل لاتفاق مع لاعب وسط ميلان ومنتخب كوت ديفوار، فرانك كيسي.

ينتهي عقد كيسي مع ميلان في ٣٠ يونيو المقبل، وبالتالي، يحق للإيفواري الرحيل مجانا في الصيف المقبل دون الرجوع إلى ناديه الإيطالي.

إذا وصل كيسي إلى برشلونة ستكون الصفقة الصيفية الثانية بعد مدافع تشيلسي، أندرياس كريستنسن، الذي سينتهي عقده هو الآخر في الصيف المقبل.

وكانت الصحافة الكتالونية قد أكدت أن برشلونة قد حصل على توقيع الدنماركي الدولي لمدة ٥ سنوات مقبلة لتقوية خط الدفاع.

O presidente do Verdão reafirmou que está otimista na renovação de contrato coma a Crefisa. O vínculo com a patrocinadora termina no fim de janeiro. Galiotte aposta que um novo contrato será assinado. Grandes contratações também passam pela patrocinadora, que investe R$ 78 milhões/ano no clube.

– A chance de a gente renovar com a Crefisa é muito grande, a dona da Crefisa também acha isso. No início do ano, a expectativa é muito positiva em relação a isso. A gente tem sempre ajustes a fazer, alinhamento de expectativas. É um contrato extremamente importante para os dois lados. Palace have been left in a state of limbo following the departure of Roy Hodgson, who brought a sense of stability to the south London outfit during his four-year stint at the club.

Although the former England boss did a commendable job with the Eagles, recording finishes of 11th, 12th, 14th and 14th, he’s arguably left the first team squad in a rather poor state.

With 14 players coming to the end of their current deals at Selhurst Park, Wilfried Zaha continuously being linked with a move away from his boyhood club and serious injuries to youngsters Eberechi Eze and Nathan Ferguson, the task facing Hodgson’s successor is a daunting one.

Many of the Palace players set to become free agents are either in their 30s or fast approaching that landmark, and the arrivals of Eze (22) and Jean-Philippe Mateta (23) appeared to indicate that Parish was beginning to address that particular issue.

However, bringing in Brady would completely go against that philosophy. Although the Republic of Ireland international is a useful asset to have for a mid-table top-flight team, his injury issues and age (29) make him an inappropriate target for Palace at this moment in time.

In five seasons at Burnley, the versatile winger never made more than 19 league appearances in a single campaign for Sean Dyche’s men.

With left-back Patrick van Aanholt set to depart Palace and winger Andros Townsend potentially following suit, the arrival of Brady as their potential replacement would make little sense, and Parish must avoid the temptation to find a quick, short-term solution to Palace’s extensive issues.

Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Carlton Palmer expects Darren Moore to target players at his old clubs Doncaster Rovers and West Brom this summer.

This comes after YorkshireLive journalist Dom Howson recently reported that the Owls have genuine interest in Doncaster defender Reece James, though a deal looks unlikely due to the 27-year-old preferring a move to the Championship.

Wednesday’s financial difficulties at the moment will also not help their cause for James or any potential target for that matter.

However, should the situation improve, Palmer thinks Moore could look at some of the Englishman’s Doncaster team-mates, as well as players at West Brom, as he looks to rebuild the Owls’ squad ahead of the new League One campaign.

“I’m sure he’ll look at Doncaster; I’m sure he’ll look at West Brom,” the ex-Wednesday player told TT.

“Whenever you go anywhere as a manager, you always go back to your former club because you know the players inside out and you know what they bring to the table.

“You know what they bring to the dressing room and you know what they’ll bring to the team. So I wouldn’t be surprised to see players coming from Doncaster and players coming from West Brom. I wouldn’t be surprised at all.”

Again, a lot will surely depend on Dejphon Chansiri addressing the current financial issues at the club – such as paying players’ wages. But, ultimately, it would not be a shock to see Moore target more names at Doncaster.

That’s according to the ever-reliable ExWHUemployee, who delivered a fresh update on the situation on his Patreon site ‘The West Ham Way’.

He wrote: “Whilst there has always been an interest in Patson Daka and he was someone that we have scouted and enquired about in the past, I believe talk of him joining the club is premature.

“One good thing that we have in our favour is that his agent is former Hammer Freddie Kanoute who loved his time at the club and would encourage a move.

“Whilst we are meant to be keen on the player I believe there are other clubs, including Liverpool who are much further down the line with this potential signing.”

Frustrating update

This will come as a blow to many at the London Stadium as plenty of excitement had started to ramp up amid speculation that the Irons were close to sealing his signature.

Zambian news outlet ZamFoot claimed last week that David Moyes’ side were the ‘favourites’ to land the prolific 22-year-old forward. He is expected to cost around £25m and has been excused from international duties in order to resolve his immediate future, which appears to lie away from RB Salzburg.

Ex is as trustworthy as they come, and his claim that top-flight rivals Liverpool are further ahead with their pursuit is frustrating given the Irons’ desperate need for frontline additions this summer.

It’s no wonder fans and the manager alike are desperate for a new signing in the role, and that’s where Daka poses an intriguing prospect. Having drawn comparisons to greats like Thierry Henry and Samuel Eto’o, the young talisman would surely have no problem adapting to the English top flight.

As per Transfermarkt, Daka has scored a whopping 34 goals in the 2020/21 season, whilst also providing 14 assists, and that has led to plenty of glowing endorsements.

Twenty3Sport journalist Sam McGuire dubbed him a “goal machine” whilst Salzburg boss Jesse Marsch believes he has “a lot of potential” and is a “fantastic player.”

He would certainly seem an excellent option under Moyes, yet Ex’s update suggests that this may not happen. That won’t please many around the London Stadium, that’s for sure.
