أعلنت اللجنة المنظمة لبطولة إفريقيا للأندية الأبطال في كرة السلة (BAL) والمقامة حاليا في رواندا تحت رعاية الـNBA، عن مواعيد مباراتي الزمالك أمام إي إس دوان والمجمع البترولي الجزائري المقبلتين.

وكانت اللجنة المنظمة للبطولة قد قررت تأجيل مباراة الزمالك والمجمع البترولي الجزائري بسبب ظهور حالات كورونا في صفوف الفريق الجزائري.

وقررت اللجنة المنظمة للبطولة إقامة مباراة الزمالك مع إي إس دوان بطل السنغال بعد غد الأحد في تمام الساعة الثانية ظهرا بتوقيت القاهرة، على أن يلتقي يوم الإثنين المقبل مع المجمع البترولي الجزائري في تمام الساعة السابعة والنصف مساء.

الزمالك حقق الفوز في أولى مبارياته بالمجموعة على فيروفيارو بطل موزمبيق بنتيجة 71-55.

وتضم البطولة 12 فريقا تم تقسيمها على 3 مجموعات بحيث يتأهل فريقان من كل مجموعة بالإضافة إلى صاحبي أفضل مركز ثالث من بين المجموعات، ليصبح عدد الفرق المتأهلة 8 فرق.

ومن المقرر أن تقام مباريات دور الثمانية يومي 25 و26 مايو ونصف النهائي يوم 28 مايو، كما تقام مباراة المركز الثالث يوم 29 مايو، وتختتم البطولة بالمباراة النهائية يوم 30 مايو.

The striker has only played 20 minutes of Premier League football, whilst he was again unused against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

And there are a selection of Villa fans who would be more than happy to accept the relatively low offer for the centre-forward.

That is not an opinion shared by everyone, though, with some of the supporters believing that the bid is far too low.

There was also a fan who claimed that his club should actually keep hold of Kodjia because the offer is so low that it would hardly be worth it.

In the modern day, £2.6m for a player operating in the Premier League is very, very low. However, it is difficult to imagine that Kodjia will be used on too many occasions moving forward, particularly considering Villa’s recent improvement, which was further illustrated by Sunday’s point at Old Trafford.

What’s more, the forward will be out of contract next summer.

Meanwhile, a number of Villa fans recently showed their delight when reacting to a piece of huge news from the club regarding a key figure.

ولكن أرتيتا أكد أنه ينوي الاعتماد على خدمات ويلوك في السنوات المقبلة في آرسنال.

وقال أرتيتا في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ذا صن” الإنجليزية: “أنا سعيد حقًا لأن الأمور سارت على ما يرام مع ويلوك بسبب الإمكانات التي يتمتع بها”.

وأضاف: “أعتقد إنه كان من الرائع بالنسبة له أن يرحل ويخوض تجربة مختلفة، لقد انتهز تلك الفرصة بطريقة إيجابية رائعة”.

واختتم: “سيعود إلينا ويلوك، سنجري محادثة معه، وسنخطط للسنوات المقبلة”.

The Liverpool juggernaut keeps marching on.

Against Brighton at Anfield on Saturday, the Reds prevailed 2-1 thanks to a brace from Virgil van Dijk. Once again, it wasn’t easy, and the Seagulls put Jurgen Klopp’s men under pressure late on following Alisson’s red card, but in the end, they picked up all three points. They have now won an astonishing 13 out of their first 14 games in the Premier League, with Leicester City still their closest challengers as they trail by eight points.

This weekend saw the Merseyside outfit’s first match without Fabinho following his injury against Napoli in Europe. In his absence, Jordan Henderson played in the defensive midfield role. Whilst he was unable to exert the same kind of influence as the Brazil international usually does, he was still solid in a position in which he has not played before this campaign.

As is often the case with the 29-year-old, he was solid if not spectacular. He managed a pass accuracy of 87%, although he failed to land a single key pass. However, he did complete eight out of the nine long balls he attempted. In terms of his offensive contribution, he was a spectator, failing to have a single shot or even attempt a dribble.

It was defensively, though, where more was expected of him, and the two out of three ground duels he won shows he did well in that aspect. He also made two tackles, one clearance and one interception, and not one of Graham Potter’s players managed to dribble past him.

Often lambasted by portions of the club’s fanbase, the 55-time England international has shown himself to be versatile and committed to the cause with this performance. When Fabinho is again available, then he comes back into the side – Liverpool could do with his 1.1 key passes per game, for example – but Klopp now knows that he has someone ready to step into the breach should he need it. Players such as that don’t grow on trees. Henderson, therefore, should be cherished for his dedication to the cause, and his will to win.

Fabinho’s injury is a huge blow to Liverpool in defensive midfield.

The Brazil international had started all but two Premier League games and all Champions League matches before injuring his ankle against Napoli in Europe last week. It has now been confirmed that he will be out until the New Year with the problem.

Described as the “best defensive midfielder in the world” by Gary Neville in September (Sky Sports via Metro), whoever steps into his shoes will have his work cut out to have a similar impact on the Reds’ midfield. Jordan Henderson stepped into the breach against Brighton in the Premier League in the first match without the 28-year-old, but it remains to be seen whether he is a long-term option.

Other alternatives include Adam Lallana, who has played one game in the role this term already, and Georginio Wijnaldum and James Milner, who both have previous experience there but are not 100% comfortable.

Marko Grujic, though, is one player who could fill in. The Serbia international is currently on loan at Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga, as he has been for the last 18 months. And his best displays have arguably come in defensive midfield.

Last season, he made 11 appearances in central midfield and 12 in a slightly deeper role, according to WhoScored. Whilst he did pick up an average WhoScored rating of 7.05 further forward, that number was dwarfed by the 7.32 he picked up in the more defensive position. This term, as well, it is a similar story, with those numbers being 6.57 and 6.98 respectively.

Defensively, he won 1.6 out of the 2.7 tackles he attempted per match last season, with that number being 1.1 and 1.8 this term respectively. He has been particularly adept in terms of clearances, with three per match this season, whilst he has also won an impressive 3.4 aerial duels per game in the league, compared to the former Monaco man’s 1.4.

It is going forward though, even from a defensive position, where he has looked arguably at his best. He has completed 1.6 of the 1.7 dribbles he has attempted per match this season. Fabinho, meanwhile, has just 0.6 in the top tier. The former Partizan Belgrade man also has more shots than the current Liverpool number three, too.

Pal Dardai, Hertha’s manager last season, said Grujic is the best midfielder he has seen in the Bundesliga in his 22 years at the club. High praise indeed, and a large number of those performances have come in defensive midfield.

It is not known whether the Reds have included a recall option in the agreement with the club from the German capital, but he is the player they are crying out for as it stands. If they haven’t, it could be a mistake they will live to regret.

وشهدت المباراة ندية وإثارة منذ بدايتها حيث تفوق الفريق التونسي في الربع الأول من المباراة بنتيجة 22/17 قبل أن ينجح الزمالك في التقدم في الربع الثاني بنتيجة 44/ 42 .

وفي الشوط الثاني تقدم الزمالك فى الربع الثالث55/51 وسيطر على مجريات الشوط ، وظل في الربع الرابع متفوقا فى الأداء والنتيجة 76/ 63.

أكد خوان لابورتا رئيس نادي برشلونة الإسباني، ثقته بشكل كبير في مدرب الفريق رونالد كومان، مشيرًا إلى عدم وجود موعد محدد حتى الآن لتجديد عقده.

وسبق أن ارتبط رونالد كومان بإمكانية مغادرة برشلونة، لعدم تحقيق بطولة الدوري الإسباني الموسم الماضي والخروج من دوري أبطال أوروبا، ولكن لم يحدث ذلك في النهاية.

وذكرت تقارير صحفية في الفترة الأخيرة أن هناك رغبة لدى إدارة نادي برشلونة الإسباني بشأن منح الهولندي رونالد كومان عقدًا جديدًا.

وقال لابورتا في حوار نشرته صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية: “أنا أحب كومان، يتمتع بجدارة خاصة بالنظر إلى الإصابات التي عانينا منها، لقد فاز على سبيل المثال أمام خيتافي، هذه ليست من المباريات السهلة، لقد كلفتنا سابقًا أكثر من اللقاءات الأخرى”.

وأضاف: “لقد تحدثت مع كومان، لكنه يحظى بدعمي وثقتي واحترامي، مثل جميع المدربين، أسلوب وكرة كرويف غير قابل للنقاش، ولكن كل شخص يتكيف بطريقته الخاصة”.

وواصل: “تجديد عقد كومان؟ لم نحدد موعدًا لإنهاء ذلك الأمر، نحن نتحدث، الرسالة هي أن المدرب يجب أن يكون قويًا، ويجب أن يحدث التجديد ببعض البنود باتفاقنا جميعًا، هذا يمنح المدرب القوة والثقة”.

وعن النجم السابق لـ برشلونة تشافي هيرنانديز، وإمكانية تعيينه مدربًا للفريق، قال لابورتا: “لا تزال لدينا نفس العلاقة التي كانت بيننا، أنا أقدره وأحبه كثيرًا، إنه رجل دائمًا ما يكون موجودًا، أنا أحبه كثيرًا”.

وأوضح: “أتمنى له الأفضل، لكننا اتخذنا قرارًا، الآن مدربنا هو رونالد كومان، الذي أحترمه، والحديث عن تشافي سيكون عدم احترام له”.

وضرب لابورتا مثالًا قائلًا: “كومان لم يكن لديه شك في ممفيس ديباي، والآن هو أكثر اللاعبين بيعًا للقمصان، وأحرز أكبر عدد من الأهداف، كذلك يرى أن دي يونج مثير للاهتمام، هناك الثقة فيه، هو مدربنا كما قلت، ونحن ندعمه، نريد للناس أن يستمتعوا ويسعدوا”.

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to challenge AC Milan in the hunt for Real Betis striker Loren Moron, according to Todo Fichajes. 

Although the Spanish outlet claims that negotiations with Milan are ‘well advanced’, Spurs are confident that they can hijack the talks.

Jose Mourinho is keen to bring in a back-up for Harry Kane who can also provide the England international with some healthy competition and the Portuguese has been keeping tabs on Moron as the transfer market approaches.

Tottenham are prepared to make an offer that they think will change the mind of Big Greens’ chairman Angel Haro.

Moron initially joined Betis B from Marbella FC as a free agent before breaking into their senior ranks in 2018 and it is fair to say he hasn’t looked back since. The 26-year-old has scored nine goals in 26 games in La Liga for Rubi’s side this season, supplying two assists and taking 1.6 shots per game via WhoScored.

The report added that Betis will demand €25m (which equates to £22m) for the Spaniard. Moreover, this is a substantial drop from their original asking price, after Diario AS previously suggested Betis were looking for €40m (£35.85m) for the forward earlier this year.

Kane has only just recovered from a hamstring injury and Moron is perhaps the support that Mourinho is seeking to reduce the burden on the Spurs talisman. Indeed, the centre-forward is unafraid of making tackles and he likes to play short passes, which could provide the Spurs head coach with the choice of playing him alongside the club captain or bringing him on from the bench.

However, it remains to be seen if Daniel Levy will splash the cash to sign the Spanish striker in the summer, in light of the economic uncertainty surrounding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Nonetheless, he is definitely one to watch as the Lilywhites have been repeatedly linked to him in recent months.
