تحدث الجنوب إفريقي بيتسو موسيماني المدير الفني للأهلي، عن مباراة الفريق أمام فيتا كلوب الكونغولي في دوري أبطال إفريقيا، كما علق على إيقاف محمود عبد المنعم كهربا.

الأهلي يستعد لمواجهة فيتا كلوب، مساء غد السبت، في إطار الجولة الثالثة لدور المجموعات في البطولة الإفريقية.

وقال موسيماني خلال تصريحات في المؤتمر الصحفي للمباراة: “نحتاج إلى الفوز غدًا من أجل قطع خطوة مهمة في مشوار التأهل إلى ربع نهائي دوري الأبطال، والمباراة ستكون صعبة للغاية خاصة أنها أمام منافس قوي ولكن لدينا رغبة قوية في تحقيق الفوز”.

وتابع: “نرغب في تعويض الخسارة أمام سيمبا التنزاني، مباراة الغد لن تكون سهلة على الإطلاق، ومن ثم سنقاتل من أجل تحقيق الفوز، لأن الأهلي في حاجة شديدة إلى تحقيق الفوز وهو قادر على تعويض الغيابات التي يعاني منها بسبب الإصابات”.

وأضاف: “خضنا مباراة المريخ السوداني في افتتاحية مشوار دور المجموعات ونحن نعاني من غيابات ولكننا نجحنا في تحقيق هدفنا بالفوز”.

وواصل: “قادرون على التعامل مع أزمة الغيابات، فقد خضنا مباريات في وقت سابق دون 11 لاعبًا منهم 7 لاعبين بسبب كورونا وأربع إصابات عضلية”.

وأكمل: “ضغط المباريات يجب أن يخلق إصابات في ظل توالي المباريات، ولكن الأهلي قادر تمامًا على التعامل مع هذه الأمور، ولدي ثقة كبيرة في اللاعبين على تحقيق الانتصارات”.

وعن إيقاف كهربا، أوضح: “ملتزمون في الأخلاق جداً، الفريق والأسرة الواحدة يحصل بينها مشاكل لكن الأخلاق هي أهم شيء، وهذه  مبادئ الأهلي قبلما أتولى المسؤولية الفنية للأحمر”.

وأتم: “نعمل على إسعاد الجماهير، في الفترة القادمة بالفوز والانتصارات”.

وكان الأهلي قرر إيقاف كهربا لمدة شهر، مع تغريمه 200 ألف جنيه، لعدم التزامه.

Everton product Fraser Hornby is hoping to replicate Christian Benteke’s route to the top in Belgium, after revealing what inspired his decision to join KV Kortrijk on loan for the season, as quoted by The Times.

Hornby was yet to add to his only senior Everton appearance before joining the Belgian Jupiler Pro League side on a one-season deal (TransferMarkt), with his senior Toffees debut coming against Apollon Limassol in the Europa League in 2017.

Hornby has addressed his decision to seek first-team football while on international duty with Scotland’s Under 21s, for whom he hopes to represent on Tuesday night when they face Croatia, having been forced to watch on through injury as Scot Gemmill’s side beat San Marino last Thursday.

The last time the 19-year-old wore his country’s colours in a competitive scenario saw Hornby net five goals in as many days, as he struck a hat-trick against Andorra and a brace away to the Netherlands.

Hornby has now taken it upon himself to test himself in a new country, as the Northampton-born striker was inspired by Jadon Sancho’s success after leaving Manchester City’s youth ranks for Borussia Dortmund.

“You see a lot of young British players going abroad now,” Hornby said. “There’s an opportunity to make it in one of these big leagues abroad that you maybe wouldn’t get in the Premier League in England. I moved away from home at 14 to go to Everton. Some people would be put off by moving away to a different country. For me that wasn’t a problem; I was always open to it.

“You look at Jadon Sancho, he’s probably done the best of the lads who have gone abroad. But I think it’s about getting that opportunity. He didn’t feel he’d get that at Manchester City and he felt he was ready to make that step.”

Hornby went on to add that Benteke’s rise from Belgium to the Premier League helped to convince the youngster that his decision to join Kortrijk on loan was the right one.

“I did my research on them,” he said. “I looked at certain players who’d been there before, like Christian Benteke. When I went there nothing was a shock. The intensity of training was very high which is what I’m used to at Everton. It’s refreshing for me to go into that environment.”

Crystal Palace striker Benteke began his career in Standard Liege and KRC Genk’s academies, but it was a loan spell with Kortrijk which spring boarded his professional career, netting 16 goals in 37 games across all competitions (TransferMarkt).

He would go on to represent Standard Liege in Champions League qualifying games and Genk in the Europa League before joining Aston Villa in 2012, where he hit 27 goals in 47 games in his debut campaign in England.

Hornby would surely not be expected to replicate the same instant success in the Premier League with Everton come his return from Kortrijk next summer, but if the teenager can use his time in Belgium to also spring board his career, he and Everton will certainly benefit from it.

Another loan spell away from Merseyside for 2020/21 could also be on the cards, too, given his age, but Hornby’s move now could be the one that takes him higher up the football pyramid, ready to make a mark at Goodison Park in the coming years.

ولم يحتسب حكم المباراة أو تقنية الفيديو ركلة جزاء لصالح آرسنال رغم وجود لمسة يد على أحد مدافعي بيرنلي.

وعن ذلك، قال ديتش: “أنا من محبي تقنية الفيديو، نعلم أنه يجب أن يكون الأمر بسيطًا ولكن هذه هي المواقف التي تستحق فيها هذه التقنية وزنها ذهبًا”.

واستكمل: “هذا هو الهدف من تقنية الفيديو، لم يكن هناك الكثير في الشوط الأول، دفاعنا كان استثنائيًا، وربما صنعنا فرصة المباراة، ولكن حارسهم تصدى بشكل جيد”.

واختتم: “العقلية كانت جيدة اليوم، يجب أن أشيد باللاعبين مرة أخرى لأن الأداء الذي قدموه لضمان حصولنا على نتيجة كان مهمًا للغاية”.

Leeds have a plethora of full-backs to choose from within their squad.

An injury to Luke Ayling has seen Stuart Dallas thrive as he earned praise from supporters despite the Whites’ defeat against Stoke.

They meanwhile have Robbie Gotts and Bryce Hosannah within their ranks.

Therefore, the fact Lewie Coyle was sent out on loan was perhaps rather damning of the direction his Leeds career was heading in.

His displays for Fleetwood so far have been rather inconsistent, averaging a rating of 6.77, per WhoScored.

However, in two of his last three league games he’s been particularly impressive, claiming two assists.

It’s that threat going forward that makes him a player to admire, especially for a modern full back where there seems to be more reliance on attacking attributes compared to defensive ones.

Those are particular traits that Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa appears to love too.

Already this season we’ve see Ezgjan Alioski and Stuart Dallas score from a wing back role. The former has been especially creative too.

The North-Macedonia international created three chances against Brentford a few weeks ago, the highest number of anyone in the Leeds side.

It’s similar traits that Coyle has demonstrated for Fleetwood.

In his performance against Oxford last weekend, he helped keep a clean sheet but was particularly assured with his passing.

The 23-year-old managed four key passes, of which one was fired home. He also managed one cross and five long balls according to WhoScored.

Bielsa clearly loves players that demonstrate those types of qualities considering he’s fielded Dallas and Alioski at wing-back this season so it should certainly stand him in good stead if he continues at the same sort of level.

The challenge, however, will be whether he can dislodge those ahead of him in the pecking order at Elland Road if and when he returns.

Any chance of that happening is unlikely though considering his current spell at Fleetwood is his third.

West Ham United are looking to record a fourth successive win in all competitions when they face Aston Villa at Villa Park on Monday night.

With everyone else already playing, the Irons know that they will jump into third position should they bring the three points back to east London, and would subsequently only sit behind Manchester City on goal difference.

When it comes to his back five and with no new injury problems to report, it makes sense for Pellegrini to continue with the players that are serving him so well right now – Lukasz Fabianski between the sticks, Ryan Fredericks and Arthur Masuaku at full-back, and Angelo Ogbonna partnering Issa Diop at the heart of the defence.

The latter duo will be looking to stop the physical threat of Wesley, who has made a decent enough start to his Villa career with one goal in four outings.

One of the Midlands outfit’s main strengths appears to be in the centre of the park where they have the likes of John McGinn, Douglas Luiz and Jack Grealish, and it is an area which already looks as though it could be an interesting one when you bring Declan Rice and Mark Noble into the equation, too.

Pellegrini should bring in another battling player in Carlos Sanchez into the middle for his first Premier League start since September 2018, in order to win that important battle.

That means that Manuel Lanzini moves into a wide position in attack with Felipe Anderson and Sebastien Haller, with Andriy Yarmolenko the man to drop out.

That may seem harsh given the Ukraine international scored against Norwich last time out, but having only recently returned from a serious injury it is also sensible not to push him too hard at this early stage of the campaign.

وواصل: “ولكن إذا شاهدت صور تياجو سيلفا في المدرجات أمام أتلتيكو مدريد، وطريقة احتفاله، سترى كيف يبدو شابًا”.

واختتم: “لقد كان يجري عبر المدرجات صعودًا وهبوطًا، كان يرتدي ملابس مثل أولئك الذين في عمر الـ28 عامًا، لذلك أعتقد أنه لا يزال هناك طريق لنقطعه سويًا”.
